Tai Chi Classes
Our Tai Chi Classes are conducted in a friendly relaxed atmosphere with people of all ages taking
part.
The emphasis is on relaxation, fun and natural work. Students may wear what they like, with the
objective being to feel comfortable with yourself, as Tai Chi is about finding an old friend that you
perhaps, once knew. The exercises and postures are natural and nothing is forced. Tai Chi is a form
of moving meditation with each individual on their own personal journey.
Our classes are one hour long and we always come away feeling refreshed and relaxed.
We teach Cheng Man Ching’s 37 Step Short Form, Push Hands and Chi Kung.
There is no pressure to learn as that defeats the object of the class which is to distress and relax.
Each student progresses along their journey at their own pace.
Tai Chi is particularly suited for older people as the exercises and postures are natural and gentle
with nothing forced.
